Intertreking Tours & Safaris Welcome to Tourism in the Northern Circuit of Tanzania When one talks about tourism in the northern circuit one means what actually attracts foreigners (tourists) to come to Kilimanjaro, Arusha and to some extent Mara region. Normally Tourists travel all the way from their home countries come to Tanzania visit the Northern circuit because or so that the can climb mount Kilimanjaro, (the highest mountain in Africa which is covered by snow through the year) climb mount Meru and lastly visit the famous National Parks where they can see a lot of animals at an eye distance. In the Northern Circuit we have the following places where tourist can see animals these are places like Arusha Natinal Park, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Bushmen Tours, Serengeti National Park and Lake Natron. It is a good idea to mention some few types of animals found in these places , there are soo many types just to mention a few these include Zebra,Buffallos,Cheetah, Lions,Monkeys ,Rhinoes and Wild number of birds.

TOURISM SEASON

Normally a callender year is divided into three seasons depending on the weather. There is the High, Low and Off season.
The High season starts from July runs through August , September and ends up in October.
The Low season starts from November and ends up in mid December. January and February is a high season. From March to May every year it is off season . By June every year it is Low season.

MEANING OF THE SEASON HIGH SEASON - Is the time of the year where's the weather is dry and it is posible to climb the mountain and the time where animals can be seen in groups of thousands. LOW SEASON - This is the time of the year when the pastures for animals is a problem , it is dry in the parks then animals are not easily seen. OFF SEASON - Is the time of the year when it is raining heavily thus it is not easy for one to climb the mountains or travel in the Parks. It is imposible to organise the game safaris by this time of the year because the roads are not passable due to heavy rains.
